Is there a choice of accommodation?

A

Yes. Your fee of $1000 per couple for Accommodation offers your 6 night stay in a Treehouse, a rustic private cabin looking into the trees, with a kitchenette, lounge space, and deck. Treehouses are situated within a short and enjoyable walking distance from the group room.

If you wish, you can upgrade to a Villa, which is an extra fee. This can be arranged with Kondalilla Eco Resort once you have registered. We recommend this only to couples who have their own transport as there is a causeway that separates the Villas up the hill from the group room and if it has been raining then you need a car. Also it is a little further away from the group room than the Treehouses. For more information see the accommodation website at http://kondalillaecoresort.com/

Will there be time to visit the surrounding area?

A

The retreat is designed to be a time to concentrate solely on yourself and your relationship. To get the most out of the Retreat we recommend you schedule visits to friends and/or the surrounding area before or after your time with us.

Can we stay an extra night at the Resort?

A

Yes – in fact we recommend it. Couples who stay on the Saturday have more time to integrate and benefit from the Retreat, before getting back into everyday routines and responsibilities. Special accommodation deals are available for Retreat participants who decide to continue their stay. Contact Jacqui for this on hello@kondalillaecoresort.com

Who designed the Retreat?

A

Diana Richardson, the pioneer of the “Slow Sex” movement, developed the Making Love Retreat. She has been teaching tantra since 1993. Janet has been, (along with Gene, now recently retired), the only authorised teachers of this world-renowned retreat in Australia since 2012.

Does the Retreat include “demonstrations” or nudity?

A

No. Group work takes place in a respectful and safe environment. The teachings are more about approach than technique. You will have the afternoons to explore what has been taught in the privacy of your own cabin.

Will this save our relationship?

A

Some couples who have been together 15, 30, 40 years come because it is the last ditch effort to save their relationship and many of those have said, "This was it. If this didn't work, this was going to be the end. Our relationship has begun again in a whole new way." They found new hope, a new language in sexuality and their general relating. Instead of being like two separate islands or in different lands, they felt they finally had new common ground where they could stand together instead of apart. So for them it has been life-changing and a 'game changer', as one man said.

In saying that, we cannot guarantee that it will. It is up to how much you both put into it and how much you both want the relationship or marriage. This retreat will give your relationship a new understanding of male/female sexuality, new life in how to communicate and above all a love that will unite you both in a way that you perhaps have not felt before.
